This weekend was so wonderful, I cannot even explain it. Life has been so busy and pretty much non-stop since we moved back to Colorado, and especially since we moved into the house.
So, this was the first weekend to relax. No projects, no commitments (except puppy class, of course), and it was great. We started our weekend at puppy class, where Roxy is learning to come when called. She's a little champ at the training class, but as soon as you get home she just stands there and looks at you.
We had brunch with my brother on Saturday at Janie's Cafe in Longmont. It is a local place that has good ol' breakfast food. He's been super busy lately with school, work and he's currently in the production of "The Man Who Came to Dinner" at Longmont Theater Company, so it was nice to catch up with him.
It was a beautiful weekend in Northern Colorado, with temperatures right around 75 degrees. It was sunny on Saturday, so we took the opportunity to spend some time outside with the dogs. They ran around like crazy, and we soaked up the sun using our new table and chair set (thanks to Matt's parents!). It is so nice to have a place to enjoy our outdoor space, and we really appreciate it!
While we were on our weekly grocery shopping adventure, 10 stems of daffodils were on sale for $1.25, so I picked up two bundles to add some color to our world.

Then on Sunday, we slept in (whoops!), so we made a quick grocery store/starbucks run for breakfast. Luckily, I had a Starbucks gift card from a friend, so it was a nice, free treat! And my photo challenge picture for Sunday was a perfect fit!
March 25th - Breakfast
For the rest of Sunday it was overcast (which I love!), so we just relaxed and watched Bones (almost half way through season 4 on Netflix, and loving it!) And I finished off the weekend making finishing touches on the first two products in my Etsy shop, updating the blog, adding a Facebook page for magenta and lime and uploading photos.
It was so nice to just relax with Matthew, and enjoy some time together without rushing from here to there. Looking forward to a great week.
P.S. If you hadn't noticed, I completely forgot to do my Photo Challenge Picture for Friday Night - Moon. Fail.
